NEW food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 12 south Cumbrian establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.
The following ratings have been given to six restaurants, cafes or canteens:
• Rated 5: Crooklands Hotel at Crooklands, Milnthorpe; rated on April 5
• Rated 5: Baha at Ash Street, Bowness On Windermere; rated on March 27
• Rated 5: Bridge House Hotel at Stock Lane, Grasmere; rated on March 23
• Rated 5: Fizzy Tarte at 18 Ash Street, Windermere; rated on March 22
• Rated 5: Joey's Cafe, Claife Viewing Station at Cafe At The Courtyard, Claife Viewing Station, Far Sawrey; rated on March 22
• Rated 5: Old Stamp House Restaurant at Old Stamp House, Church Street, Ambleside; rated on March 20
And four ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:
• Rated 5: Hare and Hounds at Hare And Hounds, Levens, Kendal; rated on March 27
• Rated 5: Windermere Motor Boat Racing Club at Broad Leys, Newby Bridge Road, Windermere; rated on March 27
• Rated 5: Ibis Sports Club at Ibis Sports And Social Club, Mintsfeet Road, Kendal; rated on March 24
• Rated 5: Sun Hotel at Coniston; rated on February 27
Plus two ratings for takeaways:
• Rated 5: Fold Coffee Ltd at Unit 12-13 Trading Estate, Beezon Road, Kendal; rated on February 24
• Rated 4: Kitchen Wizard at 19 Tudor Square, Dalton; rated on March 2
