Readers are not deterred from a popular takeaway after bad rating.

Ocean Fish and Chips and The Pizza Corner in Barrow's Lesh Lane was given the lowest hygiene score after an inspection.

But readers on social media have supported the chippy.

Lynn Poynter said: “I'm shocked. Never had a bad meal yet. Always wiping up and cleaning, I find it strange. Won’t put me off.”

Mike Jones said: “I’ve visited many times and I can personally say how very clean and organized the business is, behind the scenes and front of house, they take pride in their food and go out of their way to put new things on the menu like the festive box which went down a storm!”
