A SOUTH Cumbria motorist has been fined by a court for speeding.
Christopher Shepard was said to have been driving over the limit in a 30mph zone in his Ford Fiesta on September 20.
The 60-year-old, of Newby Bridge, was driving on a restricted road, namely Corringham High Street in Lincolnshire, court records said.
He was clocked driving at 35mph.
The motorist was convicted speeding at Boston Magistrates' Court.
Magistrates fined him £220 and told him to pay an £88 victim surcharge and £110 in costs.
The driver was also handed three penalty points.
He was convicted under the single justice procedure and was not required to appear in court.
