STAFF at Circular 1 found out at the end of last week that they were going to have to wait at least another weekend before they got paid.
This is despite the company pledging that it had finally 'secured investment' after two missed paydays and was in a position to 'bring staff payments up to date' on Friday, March 3.
Circular 1 operates as Me and My Health Hub in Harding Rise, Barrow.
A spokesperson from the company said: “Following meetings today (Friday, March 3) the position with the initial investor has changed and the structure of the deal is being revisited. This is not where we wanted or expected to be, at this point and therefore leaves us in the position that we are still unable to pay salaries today.
"The board of directors are now considering all options and are meeting at 5.30 today and meetings will continue over the weekend. We will update further as soon as we are in a position to do so, and at the latest this will be on Monday (March 6).”

The situation at Circular 1 has left staff unable to put food on the table and increasingly in debt.
A staff worker previously said: "What do I tell my kids? At the moment I cannot afford food. The company just didn't care. This has gone on now for the whole month.
"Even if they pay us eventually they are not going to repair the damage they have caused. My mental health is at an all-time low. We (the staff) talk to each other and everyone is suffering. We reach out and we get no help."
Circular 1 is using the hub as a means to transition away from Covid testing.
