3 February at home with her family, aged 80 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Stuart, much loved mother of Diane and Wendy, dear mother-in-law to Rob and Richard and treasured grandmother to Oliver and Harriet, who will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Please note her service took place on Friday 17th February at Thorncliffe Crematorium. Donations if so desired for the local District Nurse Team, who gave kindness and support throughout her illness. Peter David (Pete) BELL
Died suddenly and peacefully at Furness General Hospital with his loving family by his side after a short illness borne with great courage, humour and his Christian Faith. Beloved partner and soulmate of Eileen. Cherished son of the late Dorothy and Johnny. Twin to Johnny, much loved brother and friend to Susan. Brother to Julie. Brother-in-law to Lesley and Mark. On 31 January, peacefully in hospital after a long illness, Doreen aged 77 years of Town Head House, Bootle, beloved wife of Malcolm, loving mother of Zoe, dear sister of Mary and Jean, sister-in-law of David and his wife Yvonne, and friend to many. Elizabeth Susan LOVELESS
"Liz" Loveless, Elizabeth Susan (nee Grice) of Parkhead Road Ulverston, passed away suddenly at home on the16th of February aged 72. Dearly loved wife of Brian and mother of Alex and Chris, she is remembered fondly by those who spent their childhood and teenage years in her drama groups in Ulverston and Barrow. Aged 81 of Millfield, Ulverston passed away peacefully at Risedale Abbey Road Nursing Home on the 4th February. (Nee Trimble) Lilian Joyce Aged 81 years passed away suddenly after a long illness on Thursday 16th February. A treasured wife of Terry, much loved mum of Stephen and Karen, loving mother-in-law to Brian, adored Nanny to Alex, Joe and Jamie. John Antony BIRKETT
Tony, who lived in Ulverston before moving to Buckinghamshire in 2000, died at Wexham Park Hospital, Slough, on February 18 after a short illness. He was 70 and had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2018. He is survived by his wife, Kate, son John, daughter Helen and three grandchildren. Much missed.

'Bob' Died peacefully in the loving care of St Georges, Risedale on Wednesday 15th February at the age of 95 years. Loving dad, grandad and great-grandad. Passed away peacefully in Aldingham Nursing Home on 14th February aged 92 years. Dearly loved husband of Avis of 70 years, treasured father of Kay and Mark, much loved grandad of Jake, Charlie and Ethan. A truly remarkable man in every way, loved and respected by all. Died suddenly, during post-op rehab near his home in Italy on 17 February 2023. Dearly loved husband of Elisabetta and father of Luca and Andrea, and a much loved brother and uncle, Neil was the son of the late Jenny and Bill Probert. A staunch supporter of Barrow AFC, his thoughtfulness, generosity of spirit and devastating ready wit will also be greatly missed by his family and friends in Barrow.
