BARROW AFC have announced the return of defender Joe Grayson to the club after the termination of his loan deal at Dundee.

The versatile defender made the loan move to the Scottish Championship side in August 2022 and during his time at Dens Park made 14 apperances in all competitions.

He also found the net twice during this loan-spell.

The 23-year-old returns to the Bluebirds' ranks after initally joining the club in the summer of 2021 following his release from Championship side Blackburn Rovers.

Last season Grayson made 26 appearances for Barrow and found the back of the net on two occassions.

This included the opener in the 4-0 victory over eventual League Two champions Forest Green Rovers.

Grayson returns to a Barrow defensive group that was bolstered earlier in the January transfer window by the signing of Rory Feely from League of Ireland side Bohemians.
