A PLANNED industrial strike action is taking place this month at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust.
Royal College of Nursing members employed at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust will take strike action for fair pay on Wednesday January 18 and Thursday January 19 2023 from 7:30am to 7.30pm.
A spokesperson for the NHS England said: "Everyone who has an appointment should attend as planned, unless your local NHS provider has contacted you to reschedule. If we have not contacted you, please attend your appointment even if your Trust is affected by strikes."
"Patients should only call 999 if it is a medical or mental health emergency."
