A DOG that went missing in the Lake District has been found.
Lola the Spaniel and her daughter Juno the black Spaniel went missing on December 29.
Lola was found in Rydal Valley on December 31 and Juno was still missing.
However, after the support of the local community, which had been helping with the searches, Juno was found today (Tuesday) at 10:30am near Rydal.
Her owner Ashleigh Louise said: "She was just curled up on the bracken beside Buckstones Jump. She is being taken to the vet to be checked but aside from being cold and frightened she seems fine."
On Monday around 50 people searched in two locations including a search and rescue police expert with a drone and people running, walking and biking.
Ashleigh Louise said that the response to the appeal to join searches was 'amazing'.
Multiple sites helped with the searches including the Ambleside Facebook page and Lost Dogs Cumbria.
Local dog trappers, mountain rescue, fell running, walking and biking groups have been made aware and supported with the seaches.
