Cumbria's Childrens Specialist Teams has been praised by families for their service in the community.
The services specialises in helping children who are at risk of significant harm and require intensive intervention.
They also provide a lead role and support in all child protection s.47 assessment and plans, initiate and undertake care proceedings, and where required by courts Child and Family Workers will provide supervised contact.
Katie Raine, Clinical Services Manager for Cumbria's Childrens Specialist Services said: "Cumbria's Childrens Specialist Teams deliver Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy (OT), Speech and Language Therapy (SLT), Childrens Community Nursing and Audiology services to children and young people in communities across the county.
"The teams have taken significant steps to reassure families that, wherever you live in Cumbria, you can expect the same experience when referred to any of our services.
"I am extremely proud of the way our services have adapted to the increased request for specialist support after a challenging few years due to the pandemic. They work cohesively as a county wide team and are passionate about the work they do.
"The wonderful thanks and feedback our staff receive from families always reminds us that our involvement, advice and care really does make a difference."
