A SCHOOL has closed its doors after experiencing a power outage.
Millom Infant School apologised for any inconvenience after shutting this morning due to electricity issues.
Parents were urged to collect their children as soon as possible.
A spokesman said: "Unfortunately we are experiencing another power surge and have no landlines. Due to health and safety we will have to close school.
"Please collect your children as soon as possible from the school hall. A packed lunch dinner will be provided if you would like one. We are sorry for any inconvenience."
The school is due to reopen tomorrow.
