ULVERSTON’S Victoria High School welcomed more than 50 pupils to their after-school clubs ran by the Barrow & District Table Tennis League.
Dozens of kids have taken part in the club which is held on Fridays.
Croftlands Community Centre, the new club set up with 25+ attending, also has a daytime session for seniors set up to start on November 4 (Over 65’s Bat&Chat).
GSK Sport Club also has a competition held with 33 entries (30 new players). They now have a new club set up with 25+ people attending.
In Ulverston a new team has been formed to play in the Barrow & District League. Their campaign was launched with a 8-2 victory.
Community Hall League is a new league set up with the emphasis on social table tennis in community halls.
Teams included people from Croftlands, GSK, Rampside and Gleaston Village Halls.
Walney Island also has a new club which is set up ready to start at Vickerstown Cricket Club.
