VILLAGERS have been warned of upcoming power cuts.
Following an unannounced power cut in Kirkby-in-Furness at roughly 2am on Wednesday, Electricity North West said there will be another, scheduled power cut on November 17.
The power will be shut off from 9am to 3pm.
According to Electricity North West the area affected includes, Soutergate, Pear Tree, Gargreave, Gill End and Bank House.
The homes that will be affected should receive a notification in the post.
Burlington Primary School was notified the power would be off in the village between 9am and 1pm on Tuesday November 15 and have made the decision to close on that day.
