BARROW businesses have been awarded hygiene ratings from the Food Standards Agency.
The website reviewed nine establishments local to the area ranging from cafes to bars and nightclubs.
The following ratings have been given to three restaurants, cafes, or canteens:
• Rated 5: St Marks Church at Buccleuch Street, Barrow, Cumbria; rated on October 11
• Rated 4: Baileys at Unit 3, 78-80 Dalton Road, Barrow, Cumbria; rated on September 10
• Rated 4: Pavillion Cafe at Barrow Public Park, Abbey Road, Barrow, Cumbria; rated on September 2
Two ratings have been handed to pubs, bars, or nightclubs:
• Rated 5: Bridge Inn at Broughton Road, Dalton, Cumbria; rated on October 1
• Rated 5: MKS at 86-88 Abbey Road, Barrow, Cumbria; rated on October 1
Four ratings have been given for takeaways:
• Rated 5: China Town at 229 Dalton Road, Barrow, Cumbria; rated on October 5
• Rated 5: Starbay at 283 Rawlinson Street, Barrow, Cumbria; rated on October 1
• Rated 2: Thanbir Tandoori at 115 Cavendish Street, Barrow, Cumbria; rated on September 10
• Rated 1: H K Diner at 112 Church Street, Barrow, Cumbria; rated on September 8
