A PODCASTER shared a light-hearted joke with Dave Myers as she joked she might be the 'hairiest' after the famous chef lost his hair.

Appearing on The Hairy Bikers - Agony Uncles podcast, Posh Tash, a regular on the show, joked that she was 'supposed to be the woman' but 'might well soon be the hairiest of this hairy group'.

Earlier this month Dave said under the circumstances he was ‘doing alright’ during his cancer battle, but said he was missing his iconic beard.

He said: “I just miss having my beard, the feeling of it. Because your skins different and all peachy. No, I want my beard back – I’m alright with my hair!

“I think the bald head and beard is the way to go for a biker as you’re getting on.”

In the topics this week, the Bikers shared their wisdom about slow cooking and relationships.

After a listener asked about a friend who had cooked a whole chicken in their slow cooker, Dave said: "It will save you on power, but it also saves you on time. You are at work and it is cooking your dinner, and it is great for tougher cuts of meat.

"Buy one as big as possible and they are great bits of kit for bulk cooking curries, it really does work for lamb or beef.

"You can cook a whole chicken in there. It will fall apart but it will be lovely with all the flavours – and you can freeze the leftovers."

After another listener said she could not get a colleague she was interested in at work to ask her out, the Bikers had some sage advice.

Dave responded: "You have as much power to ask him out as he has to ask you out. Just do it – he will be thrilled

Si agreed: "You can not stop trying just because you think it might be a bad idea."
