Barrow Island A lifted the Frank Reid trophy with a 42-0 win over Ulverston A at Craven Park.
Cameron Currie was the star of the show with a hat-trick of tries with his first coming after only two minutes. He also added the conversion 6-0.
A knock on by full back Ross Bird led to Shane Sanderson crossing for try number two, again converted by Currie 12-0.
Ulverston almost replied when winger Joe Akrigg raced downfield only to fall to a fine tackle from Max Nesbet.
Tez Neauto then bulldozed his way over in the corner with Currie's kick hitting the posts 16-0.
Rhys Bartlet then forced his way over with Currie adding the goal 22-0 at the break.
Ulverston’s young side never gave up the chase but further tries from Currie 2 Neauto, Sanderson and Toby Kendal rounded off the second half scoring.
Currie named man of the match.
It was a good weekend for the Island, their first team clinched third place in the play offs with a 36-12 win at St Jude’s.
Island shot into a 20-0 and now meet Woolston this Saturday.
Tries came from Nathan Sneesby, Adam Ford, Dan Wright, Max-Anderson -Moore, Sam Jones and two from Adam Jackson who added three goals, Moore landing one.
Millom’s season ended on a sad note, beaten 92-8 at East Leeds, Jude Lupton and Nial Harris crossing for tries.
Ulverston were 40-10 winners at Leigh Miners “A” with tries coming from Johnny Hutton (two), Kieron Potter (two), Evan Foster, Tom Spedding, Jack Stephenson, and Connor Saunders, who added four goals.
