MEMBERS of a far-right group claimed they distributed hundreds of leaflets to homes in Furness.
Patriotic Alternative activists leafleted and unfurled banners at Great Urswick, Little Urswick, Scales, Baycliff, Gleaston and Dendron.
The group has previously been accused of spreading 'poison and fear' in Furness during other visits.
The far-right group is led by Mark Collett, who appeared on a Channel 4 documentary entitled Young, Nazi and Proud and wrote a book in which he described Hitler's Nuremberg rallies as 'something that one would have been proud to be a part of'.
Paul Jenkins, an organiser for Unite Against Fascism in Cumbria, previously said: "Patriotic Alternative are not welcome in Cumbria or anywhere else.
"The people of Cumbria have a proud tradition of opposing these kind of organisations."
