ANECDOTES and well wishes have been shared after Si King gave an update on his Hairy Biker co-star Dave Myers.
Si gave the update on his long-time co-star and good friend while giving a cookery demonstration at the Bolton Food and Drink festival.
Dave had to pull out of the event because of his recent cancer diagnosis.

Si said: "I just wanted to say, from Dave and I, thank you so, so very much for all of the goodwill and support, all the messages really do not go unnoticed. He's doing canny but as you appreciate he's right in the trenches of it all at the minute but he's getting there, thank God."
Readers inundated us with tales of meeting the Hairy Bikers duo and wished Dave a quick recovery.
Aileen Wilson said: “Healing thoughts to you. Picture when I met you both on the Isle of Man few years back at bus conference.”
Andy Wilkins said: “Met them once on a plane trip back to London. Had a quick chat before getting on the plane. Never meet two people willing to stop and have a chat to strangers.
“Bumped into them again in the luggage department and they both wished us a safe journey the rest of the way home.
“These are two of the most genuine people you could wish to meet. Good luck to you Dave and we hope that you get well soon. Keep biking you Hairy Biker’s. From Andy and Wendy.”
