GEAR up for a farming spectacle next month as dozens of tractors will travel around 40 miles of the Furness peninsula.
Furness and District Tractor Run will return in 2022 for a third time after a successful run last year raised thousands for charity.
On September 4, 2022, the event will hope to replicate the success of last year, with more than £7,000 raised for St. Mary's Hospice.
Last year, 50 tractors set off from Grizebeck and took on a rural route through local villages and towns over a 30-mile route.
Karen Higgs, 41, along with her partner Alan Irving, 47, organise the event.
She said: “The day gives an opportunity for folk to come together and share a common interest of all things tractors.
"With a host of old and new they follow a spectacular scenic route of around 40 miles across the Furness area.
"In 2021, we were blown away by the community support throughout towns and villages and cant wait to see you all again this year.
"Most importantly, the day provides an opportunity to raise much needed funds for St Mary's Hospice who 's care and support touches so many people."
The run has a JustGiving page entitled 'Furness & District Tractor Run'.
