THE Miners Arms at Swarthmoor is hosting its own festival this weekend.
In a post on Facebook, it said that tickers are 'selling out fast. You can try and get in on the day but to guarantee entry contact The Miners Arms for tickets.'
They are charging £5 for entry to the festival that will start from noon on Saturday August 20.
The entry fee includes a beer and a burger. The line-up includes Black Sheep Band, Olivia Dacre, NE1, The Cascaras, Tiffany Forlizzi, Mike Macauley, and Dangerous Liaison.
The festival will be raising money for the Dandy-Walker Syndrome Family Support Group. Dandy-Walker syndrome affects the development of the cerebellum, the portion of the brain associated with voluntary muscle movement, balance and posture.
Some local businesses are sponsoring the event such as INfurness Local, which provides a directory service for other businesses through its app.
