The Red Arrows flypast over Cumbria has had to be postponed.
The Royal Air Force's aerobatic team were supposed to cross the Lake District this afternoon en route from Scampton to Prestwick after taking part in the Farnborough International Airshow.
However, due to ‘operational issues’ the flypast will now take place tomorrow (Saturday).
The flypast is scheduled over Morecambe Bay at 10.40am and over Windermere at 10.44am.
A spokesman from Farnborough International Airshow today said: “Due to operational issues, the Red Arrows will not be able to conduct their flypast at Farnborough International Airshow today. The transit from RAF Scampton to Prestwick Airport has been postpone until Saturday July 23.”
