THE impending closure of a popular tapas bar has prompted an outpouring of sadness from the Ulverston community.
L’al Churrasco in Ulverston’s Market Street will close its doors for the final time at the of the month after seven years of trading.
A spokesman for the restaurant made the announcement on social media at the weekend revealing that an ‘unforeseen change in personal circumstances’ has led to the decision.
A spokesman said: “Dear beloved L’al Churrasco friends and customers, it is with great sadness I regret to inform you that L’al will cease trading as July 31, 2022.
"Due to an unforeseen change in personal circumstances I can no longer provide full-time employee hours, nor the dedication required to operate a thriving fresh food restaurant to the highest standard, therefore it is time for me to step aside and let new energy lead its way.
