A young Hindpool Tigers side gave Barrow Island a game and never stopped trying all the way to the final whistle in the Knock Out Cup Final.
Island were first to score through a try by Ross Bird converted by Sam Johnson.
Shane Sanderson was next to score for the Island also converted by Johnson.
Hindpool made a great come back to score two tries by Finn Gooding and Lewis Stables 1 being converted by Ryan Kyte.
Island hit back before half time with a Johnson try that he converted to take the score to 18-10.
Adam Ford put the score to 22– 10 before Hindpool hit back with a second try by Lewis Stables after some good work by Gooding and loose forward G Burns 22 -14 Hindpool came back again to make it 22 – 18 scored by Finn Gooding with his second try.
Island had a fight on their hands but came back with two tries - seconds for both Bird and Sanderson. Final score: 30 – 18.
Hindpool player Gooding had a fantastic game from full-back also loose forward G Burns hooker Lewis Stables.
Barrow Island's Ford was awarded MOM by the top table from the League closely followed by Sanderson, who was returning after a chest injury that has kept him out of the game for quite a few weeks.
