FURNESS residents have been sharing their thoughts on the RMT industrial action resulting in no rail services this week.
Rail bosses have confirmed that Furness and West Cumbria will receive NO rail service during strike days next week.
And knock-on effects from these days will cause delays and cancellations of services on non-strike days, leading railway operator Northern to advise customers not to travel all week.

Rail workers have voted to strike on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, bringing the nation's railways to a halt.
Residents took to social media to show their support and solidarity with those striking.
Charlie Dowthwaite said: "Yes I do, I fully support this industrial action because they are striking for a number of reasons, like pay, pensions & health and safety.
"Everyone should support this action 100% in spite of the inconvenience it causes!"
Helena Handcart: "The British people abandoned the rail network decades ago and the government should do the same. It's quite clearly beyond their capability."
John Williams said: 2Good on them for doing this and I expect we'll get more strikes from other sectors in the autumn and everyone's way of helping to get rid of this scandalous government.
"I think many people now would support a general strike."
M Robb said: "Everyone has the right to appeal for increased salary or entitlements if they feel they are undervalued, just because some of their staff get paid more than you makes absolutely zero difference."
Jodders3303 said: "The entire reason train drivers are well paid is because they are willing to strike.
"Every key worker should strike."
Helmers said: "Must be nice to earn enough to be able to afford to go on strike."
Dalton said: "Along with all the other union activity at the moment this is a typical Labour reaction to attack a government and population under pressure from uncontrollable forces."
