A popular campsite has applied for permission to extend its offering of glamping pods.
Phil and Sarah Slater, who own High Haume Glamping Ltd at High Haume Farm on Broughton Road in Dalton, have applied for permission to add four new pods to the existing six on their site.
Phil said: "We're fully booked every weekend, people seem to love the pods, so it's simply a case of keeping up with demand, and the existing facilities are more than adequate for coping with sewage etcetera.
"We've got two en-suite pods already, and they are all high-end, but these are even an upgrade on those."

The Design and Access Statement submitted to Barrow borough council says: "The new pods include a double bed, small kitchen area, ensuite toilet wash and shower facilities with room to lounge.
"The front of each pod has a large double window/door for natural lighting within the pod and a small square window on the rear side for fresh air.
"Each pod has its own boiler for self-sufficiency.
"These pods are improved from the existing ones as they are self-contained which is a desirable attribute for couples on vacation.
"As each pod stands the total ground area is 20.5 metres square, and stands at 2.95 metres in height."
