MR 100% Dan Toal has been added to Paul Crarey’s 21-man squad that will take on Featherstone Rovers at Craven Park in the semi-final of the 1895 cup (2pm, Sunday).
The former Ulverston player has missed the last six games through a calf injury sustained in the game with London Broncos on March 20th.
Toal is a big plus to have in the team, mainly as a forward, but steps in at centre in a crisis and never lets the team down.
If selected Toal will make his 193rd appearance in a Barrow shirt while also scoring 61 tries.
Also in the squad are Danny Morrow, Tom Hopkin, Connor Terrill, and Ryan Johnston who all sat out the defeat at the hands of York on Monday night.
Crarey said: "We have a few players carrying slight knocks from Monday and will have a look at them before finalising the 17-man squad.
"It was a physical game with York. They were a big side and their defence in the opening minutes of the second half was very good.
"I thought we did extremely well in those minutes with good attacking play but we couldn't get the ball down over the line. Several times we had players held up over the line due to their defensive efforts.
"But we move on and face another tough one against Featherstone, again like York they are a big unit with power and pace but at the end of the day it's 13 against 13."
"With it being a cup tie, it's a one-off game and we are all looking forward to getting through to the final.
"It will take a monumental effort against a team that's unbeaten so far this season.
"It's all hands to the pump and we will have to work hard to contain them.
"But I have confidence in the lads to get a result, we have a good team spirit "
Crarey will still have Wakefield loanee Sam Eshe on board but Jack Wells returns to his Senior club Salford.
Featherstone, aiming for promotion to Super-League, have spent big this season and recently brought in from Toulouse speedy full back Mark Kheirallah and crafty half back Jonathan Ford.
Last weekend they crushed Widnes 74-6.
