Barrow Island pulled off a great away victory at Beverley with a 40-18 win on Humberside.
This win saw the Island move into second place in the National Conference second division.
The home side took an early six points lead only for the Island to step up a gear to go in at the break leading 32-6.
The second half was much closer, but the result was never in any doubt.
Tries came from Aide Wright, Max Moore 2, Ben Garner, Adam Ford, Nathan Sneesby, Ryan Clegg, and Sam Jones with Adam Jackson adding four goals.
It was also a victorious day for Millom in division three they leapfrogged Leigh East to go fourth bottom of the table.
Well led by Hanley Dawson back from the Pro ranks at Workington the Woolybacks held out in a tense finish at Devonshire Road.
Ethan Kelly also back in the fold after a stint with Barrow crossed for a brace of tries along with Hadley Thompson, Ryan Dickinson, and a brace from Jarty Robinson.
Jack Newbiggin added three goals.
Walney Central came out second best in their home fixture with Wigan Springview losing 30-16The Cents went ahead with a Tom Heavyside try and a Jack Stevens goal.
Sprigview then took control for a spell at 6-16 before Elliott Bibby went over in the corner for Stevens to convert.
The second half was close with Mike Elliott on his return crossing for an unconverted try.
Covid in the Askam camp saw their cup tie with Orrell St James called off.
