A BARROW college has launched its own Tik Tok account in response to the rising popularity of the app.
TikTok is a short-form, video-sharing app that allows users to create and share short videos on any topic.
The videos, created by Furness College, are for prospective and current students and their parents or carers to showcase what the college has to offer.
Furness College’s Marketing Executive Higher Apprentice Kane Fleming said: “The Tik Tok videos are subject-based videos which include short clips of what the course is like across both the Channelside campus and Rating Lane sixth form.
“We are also encouraging prospective students to email any questions they want to be answered about courses or college life through a Tik Tok video to: marketing@furness.ac.uk and we will include them in an upcoming video.

“Also, we are asking current students to send us across any college-focused videos to marketing@furness.ac.uk and we will choose the best videos to feature on our account.”
