LUXURY camping pods have been hailed in its latest food hygiene inspection.
High Haume Glamping in Dalton underwent a food hygiene inspection on February 21.
The business, which first opened in 2018, received a glowing report from Barrow Borough Council inspectors.
It was awarded ‘very good’ in all areas after a report was published online.
The pods were opened four years ago after Dalton farmer, Phil Slater, took on his family's High Haume Farm.
Both he and his wife Sarah knew they would need to diversify in order to survive as modern farmers.
And with their land boasting stunning views across the Duddon Estuary the opportunity to branch out into the tourism industry was a no-brainer.
The Slaters had six camping pods shipped over from a manufacturer in Carnforth and opened up the glamping units to tourists while continuing to run the family farm.
The pods, which are fully insulated and heated, were able to open thanks to a 40 per cent grant from the European Agricultural Fund, and support from the Cumbria Fells and Dales Local Action Group.
