SMILES: Furness Young Carers Group attended a safety event at Barrow Station
FIREFIGHTERS delivered CPR and fire safety training to a group of young carers in Barrow.
Furness Young Carers Group attended a safety event at Barrow Station on Tuesday.
The group delivered CPR on practice dummies and learnt about fire safety training.
Barrow Station Manger, Roger Exley, said the group will now be fire advocates and spread safety messages to friends and families.
He said: “What a fantastic event. Barrow Fire Station and Ulverston Blue Light Hub delivering CPR and fire safety training to our Furness Young Carers group at Barrow Station on Tuesday.
“They will now be our fire advocates and spread our safety messages to friends and families.”
