A BARROW man who has admitted a child sex offence is due to sentenced at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court.
Gary Soulsby, of Helmsley Drive, pleaded guilty to attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child after he contacted what he thought was a real person.
South Cumbria Magistrates' Court heard the 39-year-old had engaged in a 'sexualised chat' with a police officer pretending to be a girl called Izzy.
He is set to be sentenced on March 29.
