AN ARMY duo who took to the Britain’s Got Talent stage will be performing at town theatre.
The Soldiers Of Swing will be performing at the Beggars Theatre in Millom on Saturday, July 23, from 8pm.
The duo is made up of Vince Fountain and Lee Day who met each other in the Army. They have been singing together for the past four years, when Vince persuaded Lee to start a singing duo upon doing a few duets together at a Squadron function and being inspired by how well their voices blended.
They started off singing for veterans and pensioners in care homes and have now gone on to perform at festivals, theatres and on TV.
Vince and Lee have served 17 and 16 years respectively and have deployed all over Europe including Cyprus and Germany. Vince has also spent some time in Africa and The US whereas Lee has served on two tours to Afghanistan.
