DATA has revealed which areas in Cumbria have the most or least holiday properties left available ahead of half term.
Snaptrip, has revealed the top 10 most popular staycation spots and the percentage of properties left that are available to book for the February break - and the second hotspot still has a high availability of properties left to pick from.

- Keswick - 17% of properties left
- Carlisle - Good availability
- Ambleside - 17% of properties left
- Whitby - 22% of properties left
- Rhayader - 20% of properties left
- Looe - 12% of properties left
- Oswestry - 26% of properties left
- Penrith - 27% of properties left
- Corwen - 27% of properties left
- Scarborough - 17% of properties left
The staycation hotspot of the Lake District has triumphed for February half-term getaways with Keswick being the highest.
Matt Fox, Founder of UK holiday provider, Snaptrip, said: “Despite the chillier weather typically experienced in the month of February, it’s great to see that people are eager to explore the great outdoors on their half-term holiday.
“After highlighting staycations in Wales as a key trend for 2022 staycations in our most recent Staycation Report, it’s no surprise to see Rhayader and Corwen make the top ten list ahead of the summer.”
