DATA has revealed which areas in Cumbria have the most or least holiday properties left available ahead of half term.

Snaptrip, has revealed the top 10 most popular staycation spots and the percentage of properties left that are available to book for the February break - and the second hotspot still has a high availability of properties left to pick from.

  • Keswick - 17% of properties left
  • Carlisle - Good availability
  • Ambleside - 17% of properties left
  • Whitby - 22% of properties left
  • Rhayader - 20% of properties left
  • Looe - 12% of properties left
  • Oswestry - 26% of properties left
  • Penrith - 27% of properties left
  • Corwen - 27% of properties left
  • Scarborough - 17% of properties left

The staycation hotspot of the Lake District has triumphed for February half-term getaways with Keswick being the highest.
