Midfielder Jamie Devitt has left Barrow AFC and rejoined Carlisle United.
The 31-year-old's injury-hit time at Holker Street came to an end late on transfer deadline day.
Carlisle confirmed that Devitt had departed the Bluebirds and signed a short-term deal at Brunton Park a minute before the 11pm deadline.
It ends a year-long spell at Barrow for the Irish midfielder.
He made 22 appearances for the Bluebirds, scoring once, after signing for the club last January.
Devitt now rejoins a club where he spent three seasons from 2016-19.
Barrow said Devitt had left the club by mutual consent. Manager Mark Cooper said: “Jamie has had a disrupted season due to injury and that didn’t give us the opportunity to see his real ability, which is a shame.
“He’s a great lad and a really good professional so he leaves with our blessing and I wish him good luck for the future.”
Devitt's departure came late on a transfer deadline day which earlier saw Barrow sign Bradford defender Niall Canavan on an 18-month deal, after paying an undisclosed fee.
