A MAN from Barrow is due to appear in court after being accused of drink driving.
Dane McCormick, of Stewart Street, is alleged to have driven on Ironworks Road in Barrow, after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in his breath, namely 43 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, exceeded the prescribed limit of 35 microgrammes in millilitres of breath.
The alleged offence dates back to December 3.
The 33-year-old is due to appear a South Cumbria Magistrates' Court on December 20 to face the charge.
