A POPULAR rock band are playing at the Water Yeat Village Hall this week.
Ranagri produce an electrifying mix of virtuosic instrumentals, incredible melodies, vivid storytelling and their unique take on old and new folk songs using guitar, bouzouki, flutes, whistles, harps and drums.
Vera Grant, from the village hall, said: “The Water Yeat Village Hall is a cosy intimate venue which provides comfortable cabaret-style seating.
“We are very lucky to have been able to book Ranagri, an outstanding band of four Irish and English musicians.
“They have recorded several studio albums, including, in 2015, The Great Irish Songbook with legend Tony Christie.”
Tickets for the event, on December 10 at 8pm, are available for £13 from www.wegottickets.com/wateryeatvillagehall.
