A DRINK driver was brought to court for failing to stop after an accident.
George Isaac Bennett, 26, admitted drink driving, failing to stop and failing to report an accident on Town Bank Road when he appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court.
The court heard Bennett, of William Street in Ulverston, had 42 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath on September 28, over the limit of 35.
He was sentenced to 100 hours of unpaid work and banned from driving for a year.
