THE chosen charity of a whisky festival making its debut in south Cumbria this December has been announced.
Bosses of the Kendal Whisky Festival will be raising money for Kendal Mountain Rescue Team (KMRT) over the course of the event on December 3 and 4.
Phil Walker, one of the festival's organisers, is running a 'dramathon' - a marathon between the Glenfiddich and Glenfarclas distilleries in Scotland - this weekend to raise funds for KMRT.
Visit 'Kendal Whisky Festival' on Facebook to donate to Mr Walker's run or to book tickets for the whisky festival, which will be held at Kendal Town Hall.
