A MAN more than four times the legal limit for alcohol has been convicted of being drunk in charge of a vehicle.
Andrew Doughty was found guilty of the offence at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court having driven while over the limit on June 3.
Doughty, 53, of Baysdale Close in Barrow, had 146 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, over the legal limit to drive of 35.
He was sentenced to an eight-week 7pm to 7am curfew and banned from driving for six months.
