A GROUP of conservative councillors recently had an afternoon tea fundraiser for Furness charities.
The event, held at Barrow Golf Club raised £300 and one of the groups who received some of the proceeds was the Bluebell Foundation.
Bluebell works in the South Cumbria area to provide free support for people experiencing grief associated with loss during pregnancy, the death of a baby, child or young person, those with fertility issues and families where a child has a life-limiting or life-threatening illness.
A cheque was presented to their Barrow representative Helen at the Holiday Inn Express in Barrow.
