READERS have had some interesting ideas for a former Barrow nightclub, which has been on the market for more than two years.

Skint nightclub on Lawson Street was put on the market in November 2018 for £300,000.

Estate agents Corrie & Co originally listed the club for £300,000 before it was reduced to £175,000 last year.

Tony Franks said: "Bring back the potting shed, snooker and pool tables."

Leanne Taylor said: "Need to make somewhere for kids to go something to actually do in this town!"

Tina Murdoch said: "No more charity shops, no more fast food, no more coffee shops. Men's and women's clothes shops, department shops. We need something to encourage people to shop in town how we used to."

Some kind of entertainment centre for kids, pool and games during the day, an under 18s disco in the evening. Keeps kids off the street and entertained.
