A CHIPPY that was ravaged by fire is still up for sale months after it was first put on the market.
Suffolk Street Chippy in Barrow ceased trading in 2014 after the premises was hit by a fire. The property, which includes a retail space and living accommodation, is on the market for £125,000.
Fire engines were called out to the chip shop in February 2014. The shop has been in the hands of the current owners for nearly 40 years. It has retained the fish and chips signage despite being closed for seven years
