YOUNG people in Cumbria and Morecambe Bay will soon benefit from NHS England and Improvement and Department for Education funding.
It will see new teams set up in the regions that will support primary and secondary school pupils with their emotional wellbeing needs.
Each team, filled with trained mental health professionals will be able to support around 8000 pupils.
By autumn 2023, there will be three additional teams added, two in North Cumbria and one in Morecambe Bay, to the existing two teams in the area.
