THE number of coronavirus cases has dropped 28.7 per cent in Furness in a week.
The latest seven-day data, up to February 4, released by Gov.uk showed there were 154 confirmed cases in the district - 62 fewer than the previous week.
The case rate per 100,000 is 229.7 which is above the national average.
Seven–day rates are expressed per 100,000 population and are calculated by dividing the seven day count by the area population and multiplying by 100,000.
The number of cases is also broken down by ward in Barrow.
The area with the highest number of cases was North Walney with 27, up by 14 (107.7 per cent) from the previous week, a rolling rate of 400.5 per 100,000.
