COUPLES can plan their perfect wedding day despite lockdown restrictions thanks to a new virtual tour of their ideal venue.
Valentine’s getaways might be off the table in 2021, but Lake District Country Hotels has put together a series of virtual wedding guides to help couples continue their wedding day preparations despite England’s latest lockdown.
Lake District Country Hotels is a special collection of three four star country house hotels - Cragwood Country House Hotel, Merewood Country House Hotel, and Briery Wood Country House Hotel - situated in the heart of the Lake District.

The third national lockdown has put the kibosh on romantic weekends away in the early part of the year but wedding planning anxieties can be put at bay with these insightful guides to your big day.
Joe Cobb, executive commercial manager at Lake District Country Hotels, is delighted to welcome back couples virtually.
He said: "Choosing a wedding venue is such an important decision and we know that now, more so than ever, people want something to look forward to.
"We know couples preparing for their big day will be anxious about not being able to visit venues, but we hope that these video guides to our wedding packages can settle any nerves.
“We often welcome brides and grooms from across the UK and are delighted to be able to welcome people virtually at a time when we are advised to stay at home.”

In each of the video tours, the hotel managers and wedding coordinators provide a walkthrough of the hotel facilities, from grand entrance halls and function rooms, through to wedding suites and the hotel grounds, which offer views over some of Cumbria’s most stunning backdrops.
Every step of the way, Lake District Country Hotels will set the stage for wedding events to unfold, whether you want an intimate ‘Just Us’ ceremony or a larger gathering. Briery Wood Country House Hotel even offers outdoor ceremonies for up to 80 people.

While lockdown regulations permit for a maximum of six people at weddings or civil ceremony celebrations, each of the venues has a larger capacity, meaning that, should you be planning your big day for Spring 2021 and beyond, you can still get an insight into how your family and friends will be looked after.
