READERS have given their opinion on a man being handed a fixed penalty notice for breaching Covid-19 rules.

A 22-year-old from Barrow was handed a fine for being outside a place he lives without a reasonable excuse.

According to Cumbria Police the man was initially arrested after refusing to provide his full details but he was subsequently de-arrested once his details were established.

The FPN was given for being outside of a place where he lives without a reasonable excuse.

Police said the man was approached previously and the video was the second engagement with this individual.
