A MAN has been sentenced after he admitted attempted possession of a class A drug.
Latham Martin John Burke, of Barrow’s Raglan Court, pleaded guilty to attempting to possessing a quantity of heroin when he appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court.
The 46-year-old was handed a 12-month conditional discharge for the offence.
The court ordered destruction of the substance, which was described as ‘brick dust/heroin. Burke was told to pay a £22 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
