A MOUNTAIN rescue team will use drones in its future rescues.
Coniston Mountain Rescue Team has revealed that it will begin incorporating drone technology into appropriate rescues.
The rescue team was given a donation by Mark Master Masons earlier in the year for drones and associated training.
A spokesman for Coniston MRT said: "After extensive testing across the Coniston Fells over the last ten months, we think that this will become a valuable asset to the team."
