AN ANIMAL rescue network ran by Bardsea Bird Sanctuary is seeking more members to help Cumbria's wildlife.
'Cumbria Wildlife Rescue' is a group created on Social Media site Facebook to allow people to easily find the nearest rescue facility in the event that they find wildlife in need of assistance.
Bardsea Bird Sanctuary manager Elisabeth Ashleigh said: "We need more private rescuers in and around Cumbria.
"Join our supportive networking team if you can help with transport, fostering, overnight safe keeping and vet visits.
"Some of the more established rescue facilities and sanctuaries can't always provide a service or say they're full."
