Coniston rescue
A RESCUE team was called out to reports of a group of walkers lost in the fells.
Coniston Mountain Rescue Team was sent out by Cumbria Police on Thursday evening following reports that walkers became lost whilst descending from the Old Man ridge.
The walkers were rescued by the team using phone-finder location services.
The rescue involved 12 volunteer members and took over an hour.
