A NUMBER of road closures are in place this week along routes in south Cumbria.
A section of Market Street in Broughton-In-Furness will be temporarily closed for utility works, beginning today.
The closure is expected to last for three days approximately.
Elsewhere, a section of the C5049 between Backbarrow and Finsthwaite, near Newby Bridge, closed on Friday and is set to remain shut for a further two days. This is due to excavatory works to end unplanned interruption of United Utilities service in the area.
